![]() ![]() ![]() Total War is another interesting one, but I think that one leans a bit excessively into the historical thing to the point that if you do something ahistorical things will get weird (if you manage to take Egypt as the Axis, for instance, you'll still get events about Allied north african ofensives). It adds complexity, but not overly so, and adds some little puzzles into build-up years. Most mods will work historically by clicking the historical focuses button, but if you want one that leans into historic thing, I like Hearts of Oak a bunch.
